For example, Xbox Play Anywhere has been an exciting combination of both sides of their business, using Xbox games to push their PC audience to buy through the Microsoft store but where they started tilting the scales too far was making Xbox exclusive games available on PC. Nintendo’s President of America Reggie Fils-Aime Retires, Replaced by Bowser

After nearly 13 years as the president and chief operating officer of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime has now decided to retire. A new president of Nintendo of America has already been chosen, being none other than Doug Bowser. Reggie Fils-Aime quickly won over the hearts and minds of many Nintendo fans with his gentle and open demeanor. Fans would go on to form memes of the Nintendo of America president, such as can be found below. In a joint statement on Thursday, however, Fils-Aime and Nintendo of America announced that the company’s president and COO would be retiring this spring. Current senior vice president of sales and marketing Doug Bowser has since been chosen to replace Fils-Aime as president of Nintendo of America. Fans of the Bayonetta series were recently blessed with news that the third game in the exciting trilogy should hit store shelves sometime later this year. That being said, with the game now in the final stages of development, longtime PlatinumGames creative member Yusuke Hashimoto has departed from the company. Bayonetta is a hack-and-slash adventure game developed by PlatinumGames and published by SEGA. The original title was released for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2010, having been met with generally positive critical reception and a quickly growing cult following. The title’s eponymous character uses a variety of supernatural abilities to dispatch evil through an intense and fast paced narrative of action. For quite some time the Steam store has been gamers’ one stop shop for all PC gaming. Epic Games has since decided to offer some stiff competition. However, one of the program’s recent free games has suffered a minor setback. Following the meteoric rise of the battle royal phenomenon that is Fortnite, parent company Epic Games decided to offer their own platform for digital PC game sales. To help themselves stand out from among the dominant force of Steam, Epic Games Store has been giving away free games every two weeks to the store’s loyal customers. With the latest reveal of classic (or Klassic if you’re a nerd like myself) character Jade, I figured it would be a good time to check in and see who all will be on the latest MK roster and how they all fit in with the story. In a surprising turn of events, MK X was not nearly as brutal in terms of killing story characters as its predecessor Mortal Kombat (Technically the 9th game in the series). I want to start this article by stating what I mean by “First Impressions” and that means that the review is being made from the perspective of the first few hours of gameplay, are generally spoiler free, and should be recognized as early game reviews. ‘Swatting’ is a growing phenomenon within the gaming world. Now Peter Simeti, founder of Alterna Comics, has become the latest alleged victim in an open ‘swatting’ case. ‘Swatting’ occurs when a person phones in a false report to 911. Claiming that there is a violent, terrorist related threat occurring within a home, the caller intentionally has armed SWAT teams sent to the recipient’s home. The act is considered a prank to some, but often ends as a fatal final moment for those on the wrong end of the supposed joke. Back in 2018, for instance, 25-year-old Tyler Barriss plead guilty to a series of prank calls to police. Among them, one of the supposed pranks ended in the death of 28-year-old Andrew Finch.
