Best Halo Infinite Weapon Tier List 2022

Halo and the free to multiplay Halo Infinite has more of a “battle royale” mechanic to weapons where you find them from fixed spawn points on the map, hailing back to the more Unreal Tournament style maps. You don’t have a fixed loadout when you spawn outside of the possible worst gun you could have and the other weapons spawn throughout the map for you to pickup.

When you respawn, you drop all of your weapons. Got a good one? Well, it could be the enemy’s now. So it’s important to know what weapons are better than others to prioritize and to know when it’s better to use up the ammo and waste it than to respawn and have it used against your team.

A Tier – Get Them and Use Them

S7 Sniper: This is your go to for long ranged damage and the best in the game. Bar none.

Energy Sword: This has more range and a lunge attack. It’s a definite grab.

Skewer: This is basically a rocket launcher, but Halo.

B Tier – They’re Aight

Heatwave: It’s a shotgun. A+ You can change from vertical to horizontal like Dead Space.

VK78 Command: It’s an actual rifle. A+

Shock Rifle: AOE Damage and lots of range. Shots bounce to nearby enemies. Very nice.

C Tier – Everything Else

Everything else in the game is a C Tier except for what we consider D tier weapons. Cindershot is as good as the Bulldog which is as good as the Gravity Hammer. They’re all something better than the MA40 AR and that’s what counts. You really don’t need a justification for any weapon but the Needler to avoid. They all effectively deal more damage than the default weapon and that’s honestly all that matters.

You could make arguments that the Hydra can be hard to use and you might want to avoid it or the Disruptor isn’t a lot of damage, but they’re in my mind still better than the default weapon in multiplayer. Practicing with them in single player is a better move than avoiding the benefit of the weapons sprawled out on the map.

  • Battle Rifle
  • Bulldog
  • Cindershot
  • Disruptor
  • Gravity Hammer (is melee)
  • Hydra (can be hard to use)
  • Mangler
  • Plasma Pistol
  • Pulse Carbine
  • Ravager
  • M41 SPNKR Rocket Launcher
  • Sentinel Beam
  • Sidekick
  • Stalker Rifle

D Tier – Avoid

These are weapons that it’s better just not picking up.

Needler: It’s low damage and annoying. You have to hit 7 times and that’s just not good in multiplayer.

MA40 Assault Rifle(Default Weapon): Yeah anything else is basically better, including melee. You’re going to be using it but you should avoid it, unless it’s the needler.
