Here we go again, it seems like Nether Realm Studios can’t catch a break when it comes to keeping anything about the most recent Mortal Kombat game. MK 11 isn’t even out yet and the entire roster leaked before half of them were even announced and now it seems like all of the DLC is being leaked too! Data Miners from Reddit have cracked the Nintendo Switch version of the notorious fighting game and managed to find probably the only secrets this game had left including supposedly all of the DLC Kombatants and the possibility of even more. This is just a reminder that every leak should be taken with a grain of salt until confirmed by the developers, so now that we’re reminded we can move on to the actual leaks. Since the Super Bowl earlier this month, we have gone nearly one month without football (I’m not counting the AAF). I don’t care much for basketball, but I’ll catch a college game every now and then. Now is the time of the year when I anxiously await for the baseball season to start up, but the best time of the year is when the baseball season is well underway and college football starts back up again. Recently, it was exposed that Thomas Cheung, a popular video game influencer and employee of Hi-Rez Studios, makers of SMITE, Paladins and Realm Royale, was arrested in Operation Interception. Operation Interception was a sting, much like the Chris Hansen “To Catch a Predator” series, where suspects were caught soliciting sex from a minor. While innocent until proven guilty, the allegations and the evidence presented so far are very serious. Of course, sadly in our society, this isn’t a once off situation. These busts occur frequently and the work of our officers and legal system work diligently to protect society from this kind of harm. If you are a sports fan of any kind, I’m sure you have heard the news. With time dwindling at the end of the fourth quarter, Drew Brees threw a pass on third down to his wide receiver on the sideline. The receiver is sprinting to get into position to catch the pass when all of a sudden, BOOM! He gets nailed by the defensive back, unable to catch the pass. It is obvious pass interference. The Saints will get a new first down, can kill some clock, and kick a game-winning fieldgoal to send them to the Super Bowl. However, the referee never threw a flag. With Aquaman being a solid success for DC Comics, it seems only natural that DC will try to capitalize on its momentum in 2019. The acclaimed Gotham series will air its final season this year, and Titans (the new darker take on the Teen Titans) seems to be making waves as well. This leaves many of us wondering – is 2019 finally going to be the year for DC? In past years, DC Comics has taken a backseat to rival Marvel. Marvel beat DC to the punch by creating its own cinematic universe and DC has been playing catch up ever since. The Batman Vs. Superman movie was not well received by critics, although fans seemed to like it. Graphics cards are expensive. Just, outright expensive.
