Halo is not the prime universe in the Bungie world; Marathon is. Which may surprise some who first found Bungie either through ONI or Halo, but the core timeline for the entire series rests with one of their earlier games: Marathon and Pathways into Darkness. Not only are these two games very important to the lore of both Halo and Destiny, but they’re also just as lore filled as those two games, if not more. Where Destiny has very little lore, PiD and Marathon have intense amounts of lore which to this day is studied and thought on. I’d like to propose a simplified version of the Bungie Multiverse Mythos and a simplified Timeline below that walks through the major highlights and plot points that you’d otherwise have to dig around for. Most articles focus on easter eggs and lore tidbits, but I want to focus on what the overall…

Vampire Survivors is a fun game that’s not only inexpensive but it’s also easy to play. Guide a character around in a mix of bullet heck and rpg action as you collect new weapons, upgrade them and much more in Konami inspired world. The fifth level of the game hides the final boss which we’ll be giving you the details on how to get there, how to defeat it and how this gives you infinite power in Vampire Survivors. Reaching / Unlocking the Final Boss First you have to unlock the map (fifth in release) named “Cappella Magna.” Unlocking Cappella Magna Let’s take a moment to talk about even getting to this point in the game. You first have to unlock the first four stages (level 20 in Mad Forest, level 40 in Inlaid Library, level 60 in Dairy Plant) and then defeating the minute 25 boss in each map…

Halo and the free to multiplay Halo Infinite has more of a “battle royale” mechanic to weapons where you find them from fixed spawn points on the map, hailing back to the more Unreal Tournament style maps. You don’t have a fixed loadout when you spawn outside of the possible worst gun you could have and the other weapons spawn throughout the map for you to pickup. When you respawn, you drop all of your weapons. Got a good one? Well, it could be the enemy’s now. So it’s important to know what weapons are better than others to prioritize and to know when it’s better to use up the ammo and waste it than to respawn and have it used against your team. A Tier – Get Them and Use Them S7 Sniper: This is your go to for long ranged damage and the best in the game. Bar…

Dune is such a good book, at least book one. It’s so good and it’s rife with political intrigue and a world that, as someone who is creative, is just jealous to read it. It deprives me of the ability to come up with most of the ideas on my own. Removing ranged weapons with personal shields is just such a fun way to completely upend sci-fi combat. Woah, upend combat? That’s…. sounding like something that would be a really good game. You’ve got massive political intrigue, tons of lore, places to visit and a combat system that’s very unique. So, where the games at? Oh not looking for something that’s not sci-fi to play, try give FFXIV a try. It’s more fantasy based and way less focused on spicepunk like Dune. The Games that Exist The following Dune games exist and you’ll see something troubling very quickly: Game NameYearGenreSystemsDune1992Adventure…

Huntdown is the latest cyberpunk themed 2d side scroller to roll out and it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s tough and gorgeous and just beautiful, but it can be a bit brutal at times. So here is some tips on surviving the world of Huntdown and keeping your bounty hunter alive. With Huntdown on Steam let’s look at some ways to survive better and make it through this awesome side scrolling masterpiece. Think Contra The game plays in the style of Contra, so if you channel Contra then you should be able to get through a lot of the game pretty well. For instance, move slowly through the city and take on only as many enemies are you’re prepared too. One of the fun things but oft mistakes of playing Contra the first time is running forward full speed. You have to learn the pattern of where the enemies are and how…

We’ve listed out the best weapons in Resident Evil: Village for you to use. We list the knife & handgun at the top, even if they’re the default weapons because the knife costs no ammo and the handgun has probably the most ammo available in the game. Guns are available via the shop and can be found in treasure locations throughout the game. Once you beat the game, depending on the difficulty, when you load back into your save you can buy a new assortment of weapons. We let you know what the best post-game weapon is for achievement hunting. New Game+ gives you the ability to buy a hype gun at the start, but by then you should have a strong feeling for the game. The biggest tip I can give you is to get the Wolfsbane as soon as its available. Most of the game is going to…

Creeper World 4 is the latest installment in a long running series by Knuckle Cracker. It takes the traditionally “2D” top down fluid simulation and turns it into 3D which is actually pretty nice. I absolutely love the game and think it’s an improvement kind of over CW3, but that’s not what we are here for. We are here for tips! Let’s begin. Tips & Tricks Mini-Walkthrough Each of the main worlds is effectively a tutorial for the main units in the game. There’s a few additional units that you can use in custom maps (along with custom units themselves), but essentially each map is an introduction to a new tool. Each map also, surprisingly, plays out the same. One of the bigger tips is to consider the TERP more often as a great solution in stopping creeper or forcing it into choke points. While it’s slow to raise or…

In Genshin Impact you can turn wishes into new characters and items. It’s sort of a gacha game but with really cute anime inspired characters. The hard thing is figuring out which characters to have on your team and which characters to bank. Plus you have to figure out who you want to invest in, give your best weapons, use in certain situations, etc. To help with that problem we have the below tier list which should give you an idea on who and what to prioritize on. You may more or less focus on just gaining new characters due to the randomness involved in Genshin Impact instead of focusing on gaining a specific one. You want to have one ranged (bow) user in your party. Healers are helpful, so are support, but you may also want to focus mostly on DPS. Remember that no list is going to ever…

GTFO claims it’s a hardcore game right in the introduction and it is very, very hard. There is a lot that can instantly take out your team. The honest best advice is to either start the game as four newbies and learn as you go or have someone teach you with zero expectations of getting anywhere in the game as you aggro an entire map worth of enemies from just trying to move around. It’s currently in early access and light on content, but what is there is beautiful and nearly cruel in how hard it is. It’s a steal, co-op, survival horror shooter so have fun with all of that. Remember, it’s way better to win with a melee hit in stealth than to try and do anything else in this game. Without further ado, here are some tips to help explain how not to die together instantly in…
