Fenrir Guide

Fenrir is a formidable assassin who reigns over the early game. In the laning phase, Fenrir should be played in the jungle. Focus on farming expeditiously to hit level 2, then look for a gank in solo or mid lane. Fenrir’s abilities, Brutalize and Ragnarok, give him potent ganking potential, allowing you to get first blood and gain an advantage.

Once team fights commence, Fenrir is versatile and can occupy several positions. You can play him as a frontline bruiser by building items like Jotunn’s Wrath, Void Shield, and Ancile. Maximize your leap and Brutalize for mobility and damage. In this build, initiate fights with your ultimate, then zone their damage dealers. Alternatively, build Fenrir with full damage – Warrior Tabi, Jotunn’s Wrath, The Crusher, Heartseeker. With this glass cannon build, stay on the flank and look for picks. Jump in, burst a squishy target with your combo, then leap out. This build requires precise timing but can hard carry fights.

To leverage Fenrir’s kit, master chaining his abilities together. His passive, Unbound Runt, gives you max Rage stacks after 5 hits, strengthening your Brutalize. Auto-attack twice, then use Brutalize for maximum damage. You can also chain Leap into Brutalize for a quick combo to kill escaping enemies. Save Ragnarok, your ult, as an execute or to chase larger team fights. The bonus protections and power in Ragnarok make you deceptively durable.

As Fenrir, your objective is to gank early, gain an advantage, and enable your team. Focus on isolating enemy damage dealers in team fights using your mobility and burst. Help your lane by ganking, then transition to objectives like Gold Fury. Place deep wards in the enemy jungle to catch rotating enemies and pull off successful ganks. Communicate with your support to chain crowd control the enemy carries. If built as a bruiser, tank objectives and towers for your team in the mid-late game.

Fenrir prevails by maximizing his early pressure to gain map control. With mechanical mastery of his abilities and intelligent build paths based on team compositions, Fenrir can hard carry in both casual and competitive play. His flexibility and mobility characterize his role as a jungle assassin that excels at isolating and eliminating key targets. To truly master Fenrir, you must understand his potential and limitations at each point in the match. Early, prey on enemies alone in their lane or jungle. Mid-game, flank team fights to dispatch enemy damage dealers and tanks. Late, either protect your damage dealers as a bruiser or play as an opportunistic assassin, waiting for enemies to overextend.

With experience, Fenrir’s capabilities become second nature. You will know when you dive in and unleash the beast to gain a quick kill and when to keep your distance in larger fights. You will sense how to best build against troublesome enemy lineups. Most importantly, you will understand how to enable your team through the vision, map control, and early pressure Fenrir provides. I hope this guide aids you in commanding Fenrir and ascending the SMITE ranked ladder. May the blood of your enemies stain the battleground.
