In LEGO Fortnite, Valheim, Grounded, Ark and even the fluffy Palworld there is a consistent mechanic available: survival. This spring, if you’re a fan of survival gaming, consider doing something considerably more immersive: going camping outdoors. Very similar to the gaming counterparts, surviving in the wild comes with all of the mechanics you love from your favorite video games with the danger that exists in popular Isekai anime, manga and manhwa. Camping in our modern world is very accessible and affordable, with only a few required supplies and lots of places to explore. In this article we’ll look at how you can go from building a hut in Minecraft to actually thriving outdoors in the true wilderness. Camping – Is it right for you? Camping has a lot of safety requirements involved and some minimum mobility requirements that you’ll have to take into consideration. Take into account an inventory of…

If your world in LEGO Fortnite has had its spawn moved, there is currently nothing you can do to fix it within your world. Most guides will tell you to make a new world and give keys out and that’s very much true. You can just make a new world and that solves the glitch, but it also doesn’t mean it won’t come back or that EPIC won’t patch your world. There are a few ways to make the issue a bit easier. I’d only suggest the following if you’ve at least got a few hours into your world. Otherwise, it might be more fun to just restart. If you have aerial vehicles, it may be easier to just use those to retrieve your friends. Reach Far Out Friends The first question is what biome(s) are between you and your friends. Hot like the Desert and cold like the Frostlands…

Let’s get you ready to go in the hot or cold in Lego Fortnite. It may feel complex at first, but it’s actually quite a simple system. In the top left corner is your hot / cold bar. Left (blue) is cold with two steps and right is hot (red) with two steps and a neutral in the center (grey). The Grasslands by default is neutral, Desert is hot and the Frostlands are cold. Night time will decrease coldness by generally one along with storms. These features can be turned off at world creation. There’s freezing and burning (rapid health degeneration) along with cold and hot (slow health degeneration). Anything that grants health generation (or just eating every now and then) will tackle cold and hot areas of the game. You’ll need elemental resistance along with warmth / coolness to tackle areas that are freezing and burning (Desert/Frostlands caves, Frostlands…

Arcadegeddon is a colorful mashup of arcade nostalgia and roguelike action that mostly succeeds thanks to its vibrant style, frantic gameplay, and reverence for gaming’s past. Arcadegeddon is effectively if you took Risk of Rain 2 and removed the sadder overtones and replaced them with a Saturday morning cartoon gamer vibe aesthetic. The music is absolutely worth the price of admission alone. We recommend this game, if you’re wondering why read on below. You play alongside Gilly, a likeable underdog trying to save his retro arcade from being bulldozed by the evil Fun Fun Co corporation. To drum up interest and funds, Gilly cleverly hacks together the greatest hits of arcade gaming into one super game called Arcadegeddon. However, Fun Fun Co retaliates by injecting a virus that corrupts the creation. Now it’s up to you and friends to dive in and exterminate the bugs overrunning Gilly’s digital dream. The…

Gunfire Reborn is a cute and fluffy rougelike adventure with adorable scenary and great combat. Of course, the game’s name is “Gunfire” and guns are a huge focus in the game. Enemies are constantly dropping new guns Fortnite style everywhere and it can be hard to know what to pick-up and what to leave on the floor. We’ll go into the best guns and then follow-up with some guns you might want to never pick-up. Let’s kick off with our S-Tier weapons, then follow with some A/B tier picks which are still best in class, but not considered broken or just good to use all the time (Illusion). We’ll end with weapons to just avoid. Weapons have modifiers too, which makes them contextually good or bad based on drops. Elements matter as well – check out our Gunfire Reborn Elemental Damage guide. Gunfire Reborn S Tier Weapons / Best Weapons…

Veteran Internet users know of the turbulent time when Activision bought Blizzard and the gaming community exploded with anger. Of course, this wasn’t the first sell of Blizzard… the gaming company had previously been acquired by Vivendi, Sierra-Online (via CUC) and Davidson & Associates just to sort of measure out a few. Blizzard had a long history with Vivendi and that spree of 1998 to 2008 was pretty much considered their golden years. So, with that said, with all the problems the 2020s have brought Blizzard, what is the solution to their woes? Go back to their glory years where WoW released, Diablo released, StarCraft and StarCraft 2 released, etc. Forget Diablo, It’s Not a “Blizzard” Game Let’s set something straight, Diablo is actually a Condor Games game. Blizzard bought another studio, renamed them Blizzard North and they worked independently from Blizzard. The last thing they produced was in 2001…

There’s a lot going on right now in the world of video cards, but one of the hard truths that we have to face as gamers is that the actual super truth is that we’re hitting a point where the fidelity of games isn’t utilizing the entire graphics card power and thus, we’re looking at suffering in the video card market for a myriad of reasons and how people game is entirely one of them. People are quick to say “supply shortages” and “silicon shortages” as the reason for video card stock shortages and to a degree, it’s the simple answer, but what if I told you GTX 680s being viable today is probably a lot more involved in why there isn’t a rush to solve a what is now over a year long shortage in video cards. The Bargain Bin’s the Reason The biggest reason behind the ongoing video…

The year was circa 2002. Ragnarok Online was getting long in the tooth and I was invited into a mystical world that existed only until 2005, which was Dark Age of Camelot. The entire game itself was I would argue harder than Dark Souls. Soloing anything was next to near impossible and leveling required a group and lots of patience. FFXI, while not my cup of tea, was in many ways similar and players have similar opinions. The point of the game, the success, came from community. Building community with like minded players who wanted to sit and chat and play a video game together was your reward. It wasn’t power. It wasn’t fame. It wasn’t prize money. It was friendship, something we’ve long long lost in online gaming. To level, you would have to have a stereotypical archetype group of a tank, healer and DPS. The tank could only…

Fortnite brought about something very interesting in the world of mobile gaming – dedicated gaming phones like the Razer Phone 1 & 2 and the ASUS ROG line of phones. These phones tout a host of features that make them sound like they’re going to help you play Fortnite or other mobile games longer, with “fancy” heatsinks that wick away the heat and other gaming features like RGB lights and gaming mode software. The answer, actually, isn’t very clear if they’re worth it or not due to one complexity – the high refresh rate screens. At one time, the 120hz and 90hz screens were limited to just the gaming phones, but now there is actually a lot of flagships like the Google Pixel 4 and OneTouch 7 that have high refresh rate screens. The higher the refresh on the screen, the faster the battery drain too, which makes the choice…

Fortnite is an example of a game that can appeal to the masses with ease. The gameplay is simple, over the shoulder FPS that’s simple to play with the only extra mechanic being building. The game updates itself roughly each quarter with some new mechanic or changes within the game and new ever existing plots and stories for players to follow. The ever snowballing amount of cosmetic choices give players the ability to be them within the game, even though millions and millions and millions worldwide are playing. In this current landscape you have two kinds of people out there. The ones who love the game and play it frequently and you have those who resent it, for a myriad of reasons that honestly don’t matter in this context. Both camps have a lot of people in them and both have excellent reasons for their opinions. Looking deeper than on…
