How to Play Outer Worlds for $1 and Not Use the Epic Store

If you want to play Outer Worlds, the new Fallout 3/4-like game by Obsidian, you have a few options. It’s on the PS4, Xbox and on PC via the Epic Games Store. However, instead of buying it full price, you can actually play it (at least for the first month for $1) and not even have to have the Epic Store installed. This “trick” isn’t a trick at all and is an intended play path by the developers. You can get the trial for Xbox Game Pass and install the PC version off of Microsoft’s website (no links – trust no links to it, go to Microsoft yourself to avoid malware). Borderlands 3 is the sequel to Borderlands 2 and kicks off with a new vault hunter back on Pandora taking on an epic adventure throughout the galaxy. There is a lot of the same and a lot of new things in this rendition and our review is pretty simple. If you want an FPS loot game that’s sillier than Destiny 2 and/or an improved version of Borderlands 2 then this game is a must have. The looter shooter has impressive combat, great guns and fun characters to play with some interesting and challenging encounters throughout the world. If you want a detailed story FPS game then, I’m not sure I would recommend Borderlands 3. The story, while long and very in-depth, isn’t very good. A new month means new free games on offer if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber. Unfortunately, this news only applies to PS4 owners, as Sony recently stopped giving out free PS3 and Vita games as part of the PS Plus package. It’s an understandable move, but still a disappointing one as a fan of both systems. Nevertheless, here are the two PS4 games available for download starting April 2nd. The Surge From the creators of Lords of the Fallen comes The Surge, another Souls-like experience with a more unique setting, at least for the genre. After releasing a teaser trailer just one day prior, Gearbox delivered a press conference at PAX East on Thursday that many Borderlands fans have been anticipating for quite some time. No, I’m not talking about Randy Pitchford’s demonstration of his magic skill. On top of the foreshadowed Borderlands 3, here are all of the announcements from Gearbox’s PAX East showcase. Pathologic 2 Gets a Release Date The strangely-named Pathologic 2, which is actually a remake of the 2005 cult classic Pathologic rather than a proper sequel, got a release date of May 23rd, 2019. The game is being published by tinyBuild of Hello Neighbor fame in cooperation with Gearbox and will be released in chapters through Steam. Annual sports games are generally the same every year, with some improvements sprinkled in here and there. MLB The Show is no different. I am a huge MLB fan and initially went the Playstation route over Xbox solely because of The Show, but I don’t think I have bought a copy of the game since 2016. However, the changes that are coming with this year’s version are enticing enough to make me want to spend that extra $60 to get my lifelike MLB experience.
