ActRaiser was a super cool SNES game because it was a mix of city building and side-scrolling. With Sol Seraph, we finally have a spiritual successor to ActRaiser – just 29 years later (1993 saw ActRaiser 2, which many say wasn’t as good as the first). To sum the game up – you build a city and play a tower defense map to unlock side scrolling sections, which boost your character (Helios) and makes him stronger, eventually letting you take on a boss and fully liberating the area. Understanding How To Play the Game Sol Seraph is formulaic. Once you get into the pattern of the game, it becomes very easy to understand the basic flow. It goes like this: You unlock a zone by completing a side-scrolling map. Once unlocked, you are in tower defense mode. You you fight enemies to collect souls to unlock enemy arenas. Once you…

Jump Force has been garnering an avid fan base ever since the title’s release. Now it would appear that the game will soon be adding a new playable character to its roster. Jump Force was first released back in Feb. of this year. The title is a classic fighting game with a twist. The playable characters each come from different popular anime franchises. Among those playable within the game, One Peace’s Monkey D. Luffy, Dragon Ball’s Goku and Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Yugi Moto are all available within the roster. Jump Force publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment has since taken to social media to officially announce that All Might from the hit anime and manga My Hero Academia will be joining the Jump Force roster. An official release date for All Might has yet to be revealed, though Bandai Namco Entertainment has come forward to state that the character will be released sometime in…

I couldn’t count on two hands the number of tier lists for SSBU, but not everyone is interested in which fighter is considered S-tier or which ones can make a 0% to death combo. Who doesn’t love free stuff? Right? like if I offered you a free sandwich would you honestly say no? So why would you do it with a video game? 2019 is both a big year for RPGs and a slow one. Tons of really anticipated RPGs and long, storied franchises are either finally coming back or dipping their toe into new territory, but oddly enough the majority of these big releases happened early on in the year. Thankfully there are still plenty of (hopefully) amazing titles coming later in the year so let’s check out what the most anticipated RPGs that are coming out later this year! 5. Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth The latest game in the fan service fueled handheld adaptation of the Persona franchise Persona Q2 is on its way to the 3DS! Adding onto the already jam-packed cast from the first title, Q2 also adds the Phantom thieves from Persona 5, and a few original characters new to the sequel. The gameplay of this sequel has been simplified to appeal to the audience brought in…
