It’s not secret that Warhammer 40K: Darktide is based heavily on the Left 4 Dead franchise. The developer, Fatshark, has a history with emulating the franchise in Vermintide and continues to do so in the future grimdark WH40K: Darktide. In emulating the franchise they’ve brought back one of the infamous “group gotchas” the Witch. This time though, they’re called a Daemonhost and do about just the same thing mechanically: wipe your party. There’s very rarely a reason to defeat them beyond contracts and penances which you should aim to do in a group of other players with the same goal as you so that you can gather the right party, clear the are out around the Daemonhost and then fight it properly without worrying about losing the mission. When you’re just running a mission though and there is no objective for it then there is no reason to mess with…

It can be a lot to figure out what to play in Warhammer 40k: Darktide. The operators, which are the primary top hierarchy for the class, all come with drastically different playstyles. A Preacher will do mostly melee while a Sharpshooter will do mostly ranged and there isn’t much in-between. What you pick is what you play. The good news is the game gives you multiple character slots so you can go in and play whatever operators you’d like. You can also make an operator, try it out for a bit and then reroll and skip the cutscenes and get all the starting progress made up in about 30 minutes. Don’t ever hesitate to try another class! Below we’re going to break the operators into our best generalist picks (i.e. you want to do everything on a single character) and then explain what the best specializations are. We also give…

Pentiment is an amazing game of beautiful art and stylized text in the 1500s. One of the beautiful things about the game is that it gives you an artistic representation of life for the various classes of people, what they did in their day to day lives along with some religious and political intrigue. What the game doesn’t do is give the player any edification on what is and isn’t true in the world around them. This is true in both Act I and Act II when you’re given the chance to weigh in on the investigation in town. In Phoenix Wright your job would be to accuse the actual perpetrator but in Pentiment, you’re given something a bit different. That’s a lack of resources, time, access and knowledge to discover who did any of the main crimes in the game. At best you can provide what you’ve found and…

Gems are a premium currency in Legends of Idleon and are obtained both with real world cash and freely in the game. While the easiest way to obtain gems is to buy them directly and conversely, the cheapest way is through a bundle when offered. Yet that doesn’t mean you can’t get a fair amount for free in the game. Let’s go over the daily stops you’re going to want to hit to farm gems. Below are the reasonable sources to farm gems from and how often they reset. If you have trouble with bosses, make sure you’re using the right class. Every Boss in the Game (Daily) All mini-bosses and bosses in the game drop gems (although you may need to unlock it for that world at the task board). This is the primary method of farming gems. For bosses, you’ll want to use the lowest level (1 key…

The mainline story ended with the Pizza Simulator, where Willaim Afton, Molten Freddy (Ennard), Scrapbaby (Elizabeth Afton) and for some reason Lefty burns up. Fazbear Entertainment, the business, continues to run pizza parlors with animatronics for what we assume is years and years until they reach the point that they’re able to build effectively a near fully autonomous Pizzaplex. In the meantime, they started development on a game to help with public perception: FNAF Help Wanted. This was to help clarify that Scott has been dragging their name through the dirt and they’d have some fun with it as well to help promote Fazbear properties. It’s important to note that Security Breach is a direct sequel to FNAF 6 (the Pizza Simulator). In one of the endings, its made clear that the Pizzaplex was built on top of the Pizza Place from FNAF 6. FNAF Help Wanted’s Plot The story…

A stylish condenser microphone that had frequently updated software, full on-mic control for sound, an output jack and can be mounted is something of a rare find in the sub-$100 bracket. The MAONO DM30 (Amazon | Official Site) comes out on top as a microphone that provides not only top tier sound but provides all the various bells and whistles of a much higher end microphone. There’s a lot out there, but a lot of it doesn’t come with many features, is poorly built or just kind of lackluster in the sound department. When we took a look at the DM30 we took an extensive look at what came in the box and you actually get a lot here. You get a standard mount and a USB cable that works as both usb-c and usb-a allowing you to use it with thin laptops and any other computers. The RGB flows…
