There’s a lot in the world of Final Fantasy. I mean a lot. There are a total of 13 mainstream non-MMO games and a ton of spinoffs like the Crystal Chronicles, Tactics, etc. I’ve recently gone on a binge of replaying some of the older titles and it’s made me go huh – how would you even get started in the series. If you started for instance at FF8, it would be so confusing. I wouldn’t think much of the series. I started with FF1 and FF3 (US) and skipped until 10, 12, and then went back to 7 and 8 which made them all make a lot more sense than if I just started with 7 or 8. So I’ve put together my thoughts on the best order to play and various issues with some of the games. These are my opinions and are not universally shared. For some,…

Limbus Company is the third install in Project Moon’s Lobotomy Corporation world. The manager, Dante, is tasked to take his 12 sinners into the ruins of Lobotomy Corporation to uncover the Golden Boughs. To do so you’ll need to know how to use identities, EGO and fight in the tough world of “The City.” You can read more on the story if you’re interested. In this guide we go over what Identities are, how EGO works and how the flow of combat works. By the time you reach 3-4, you’ll need to master all three to make it through. Identities and the Gacha System in Limbus Company Identities (ID) are alternate universe versions of the twelve sinners. The base 12 sinners are unlocked by default. You can draw IDs via the gacha system. They have three rankings: 0 (base), 00 and 000. The most powerful universal version is often considered…

Hogwarts Legacy, by Avalanche Software, is one of the more fun RPG games of the year but there is a strong stigma around the game. Within that stigma, there are a specific group of militant extremists who believe anyone who purchases the game deserves some kind of retaliation. Sites have popped up, which we will not promote, encouraging communities to search for streamers and users who are playing the game in order to harass them. The issue is that much of the rhetoric is subjective; objectively the game was developed by a diverse team at Avalanche and WB. Playing the game is a choice that each person decides on their own what it means to them and the ability to make that choice is critical to self-autonomy. If you feel you should boycott the game then you should do so; if you do not feel it morally objectionable to play…

Supraland is super fun, at least in my opinion. You have a game that basically has all the components you need – dark souls level combat, Metroid for the NES complexity to advance and Zelda like puzzles. Well, maybe it’s not as hard as a souls game and maybe Metroid for the NES is probably way more confusing, but I’ve had a blast with it. We’ll start off with some general tips that’ll get you through 80% of the puzzles and then I’ll provide a very brief spoiler free walkthrough to get through the main story. The real point of the game is solving the puzzles, but there are a few areas where it can be a bit challenging. At the end we give some more direct answers to common issues in the game to help you get past some of the more challenging parts. Most of the same advice…

There’s a lot to picking your first class and then subsequent job in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) to take into consideration. Seasoned and new players alike can have difficulty choosing which job to play and it’s especially relevant for new players who have to stick with the first class they pick for awhile. Getting stuck on that class selection screen is a real reality with so many classes in FFXIV to choose from. The first thing we go over is picking your class and you’re stuck with that until level 10. Then at level 30 you can change to jobs which grant expanded abilities. Then at level 50 there are new jobs to unlock based on expansions and other considerations. So we go into what all the different classes / jobs do in the game, how to acquire them and what they do. So consider this a one stop shop…

The mainline story ended with the Pizza Simulator, where Willaim Afton, Molten Freddy (Ennard), Scrapbaby (Elizabeth Afton) and for some reason Lefty burns up. Fazbear Entertainment, the business, continues to run pizza parlors with animatronics for what we assume is years and years until they reach the point that they’re able to build effectively a near fully autonomous Pizzaplex. In the meantime, they started development on a game to help with public perception: FNAF Help Wanted. This was to help clarify that Scott has been dragging their name through the dirt and they’d have some fun with it as well to help promote Fazbear properties. It’s important to note that Security Breach is a direct sequel to FNAF 6 (the Pizza Simulator). In one of the endings, its made clear that the Pizzaplex was built on top of the Pizza Place from FNAF 6. FNAF Help Wanted’s Plot The story…

The Uhuru WM-07 is a strong contender in the sub $50 mouse bracket, clocking in at around $23 with a coupon this mouse has everything more expensive mice have in a slick package. We gave it a lot of use over a few gaming sessions and wanted to give some details on this nearly 5 star reviewed mouse from Uhuru. Low Price Big Features The elephant in the room is the price. At almost $20 with all of the features that it has, you can almost expect a major hit in quality. With that respect, it’s an apropos concern but one we found wasn’t an issue. For the price, at under $30, you’re getting a mouse, a wireless receiver (USB-A) and a USB-C cord. The mouse itself is USB-C so it has the latest charging plug and will charge with most modern phone chargers, meaning it’s a great grab and…

Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach is the first 3D action survival horror game in the FNAF series. You take on the role of Gregory who wakes up inside of Glamrock Freddy in a Pizzaplex that is in a state of chaos. We’ve compiled some tips below to help you survive the night along with how to obtain the game’s various endings. The biggest tip of all is to understand that the game is linear but not completely linear. Areas are gated past passes that are only given out at certain times and in certain areas. However, how you upgrade Freddy and how you proceed can be completely up to you. You can see your available missions anytime on the watch. Scott Cawthon retired which means that the series is moving on now with him taking a less hands on approach. However, it’s very clear in Security Breach that Steel…

There’s a lot of mediocre headphones on the market but if you don’t read anything else in this article, then I hope you takeaway that the Audeze Mobius Headphones are a true gem in the rough. We’ve had multiple staff at Gaming Tier List give these a go for an upcoming gaming hardware tier lists series we’re planning and we have to say that these are front runners for S Tier but we’re definitely going to break down our opinions and we’re only going to focus on real world use cases – there isn’t any technical specs out there that will convince our ears that they’re great. We’ve got a lot to cover but let me give you the highlights on what we love and what we don’t first and if you want to learn more of how we came to those conclusions, you can read further below. What We…
