So I have a problem with Apex Legends. The game has a severe learning curve and is extremely difficult to pick up at first. I have a few matches under my belt now, and by matches I mean surviving for a brief moment until I get killed by someone who actually knows what they’re doing. So my problem with Apex Legends is this: why is there no solo matchmaking at all? Annual sports games are generally the same every year, with some improvements sprinkled in here and there. MLB The Show is no different. I am a huge MLB fan and initially went the Playstation route over Xbox solely because of The Show, but I don’t think I have bought a copy of the game since 2016. I am astounded by the amount of people who can barely take care of themselves, and yet they think it’s a good idea to decide to take on the role of parent and find a dog to become their best friend. News flash, you’ve never even had a Tamagotchi before, and it shows. Maybe some people out there think raising and taking care of another living creature is easy work, but I am here to tell you, it isn’t. Taking care of any pet is a serious responsibility, but so is raising a Tamagotchi. If you can’t raise a Tamagotchi, you definitely should not be allowed to care for a pet. Alright, do I seem a little obsessed with the Resident Evil 2 remake? Because I totally am. The recent DLC has only reignited my fire to 100% this game because not only does it add more quality fun content but its also very affordable with the low low price of completely free. I don’t want to make it seem like the only thing to praise about this DLC is the price tag, the quality is easily that of a paid add-on and I can’t express how awesome the developers are for doing this too but I’ll get to that later. The idea of the DLC is to give some “What if?” scenarios for the player to explore, giving a happier ending to some side characters that didn’t deserve the horrific fates they met. Everyone has that one underrated game from their childhood that always brings back those nostalgic memories of simpler and more innocent times. The problem is that most of the time you realize that you only thought those games were great was because you were seeing them through rose-colored glasses and if you actually went back and played them you would realize how they weren’t underrated but just honestly not that good. Luckily Titanfall 2 is definitely not one of those cases even if it wasn’t exactly from anyone’s childhood per se.
